loyalty is dead. long live opportunity.

let us mourn the passing of loyalty, the unyielding knight, in today's modern age. it was a unique character trait, the unswerving faith.

opportunity, the shadow hope, slayed it. while it was not evil, it made the masses realise that sometimes, the two cannot coexist.

one is judged by one's trust and commitment to something or someone, a rare yet precious quality today. the other is a passing chance; somewhat risky but full of hope, if missed, is gone forever.

sometimes, for one thing, one has to sacrificed.

one of the great dilemmas of life.

so which is more important to you now?
