i skipped mb106 lecture to go down earlier for training today.
went down at 4... finished at 10!
well what did i do today, i corrected my distance for my kicks.. i also tried to improve the quality of my kicks... now all i have to do is work on
1. raising my leg higher and 2. don't lean back.
for the actual training.... omgosh.... i am so tired. we ran a fair bit, continuous kicks and ran some more...... i am currently bathing my legs in deep heat.
i seriously dunno how i am gonna survive on the 1/2 march....

went for 400m sprints yesterday. or rather tried to. my timings sucked.
1: 1:43 2: 1:44 3: 1:53 4: 1:54 5: 1:53 6: 2:07
after that did random bouncing around and kicking. but to no avail..
today, started with a slow 3km run in the morning. the hall 1, hall 11 adm route. in the evening, there was training. i got corrections for my kicks. here they are:
1. use your hip (again) 2. raise your leg higher when kicking 3. judge your distance (important!) 4. watch your back leg when kicking 5. you bounce on your soles damn it and lock your knees when you bounce 6. RELAX 7. learn how to fake properly
tactic 2: step in turning. yup yup.
tomorrow, before 206 and 202 meeting, i will do need raise with instep locked 5 reps. followed by a run. and probably bouncing.

got a call up today to go for tkd weigh in. considering the fact that i have not gone for training in a LONG while, i am surprised that they still called me to go in for the competition. i am taking part in brown belt feather weight (62.5 - 67). ooo flighty.
i have 14 days to train up to competition standard. spent about 1 hr training with a coach (one of the ntu seniors). i am supposed to find a coach, but all the coaches are taken up. oh boy.
lets review today:
1. use right leg as a launch leg while my left leg goes in. 2. use your damn hip to angle your kick. 3. your left leg is better then your right leg. 4. you have to use what you have. 5. do not panic. 6. do not panic. 7. do not panic. 8. land your kicking leg in front.
actually, there is no pressure on my part. i am an unknown and no one knows my skill level. if i join ... just aim win the first round first. even if i don't win its a good learning experience.
